Gossip Magazine and JPC Community Farm would like to say a huge thank you to all who attended our Christmas Party – It’s My Party and I’ll Wear What I Want To! A big thank you to Crathorne Hall Hotel who served up some delicious food and provided a wonderfully festive backdrop to our evening. Fun and antics was had by all – some in elegant evening wear, a selection of Christmas jumpers and prints and of course fancy dress!

We danced, dined and played games! All while raising over £1500 for JPC Community Farm.

We very much look forward to seeing you at our next gathering – The Valentines Masquerade Ball at Wynyard Hall Hotel in February.

Double, double toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble, another bewitching Halloween ball without a hitch despite attempts of many a witch! This year’s Halloween Ball saw all manner of ghastly ghosts, ghouls and goblins descend on Crathorne Hall for a spooky night of delight all in the name of fundraising.

Guests on the night included; Frankensteins monster, a family of skeletons, a batch of dead brides that’d leave you breathless among many more creepy costumes. Everyone in attendance was in agreement of the excellent night they had, the spooky and jovial atmosphere was simply infectious. With a very favourable three-course meal, a delightful selection of themed cocktails and splendid sounds from The Bobby Francis Experience (a fantastic local band) had everyone on their feet dancing the night away.

All in the name of a good cause, the night raised a fantastic £2,263 for the JPC Community Farm. We’d like to offer special thanks to all those in attendance as well as our sponsors of the evening including: Crathorne Hall, Studford Lodges and BMW.

On Saturday 23rd September 2017, local families and petrolheads got in gear for the Prestige and High-Performance Motor Event, with motor hero Tiff Needell (Formula 1 Racing Driver, Top Gear and Fifth Gear Presenter).

The event held at Wynyard Hall (Opposite the Grand Marquee) gave people of all ages to get up close to a jaw-dropping selection of the latest models, plus racing, classic and vintage cars.

The day also featured live music, dance performances and mouth-watering food and drink!

Check out just some of the images from the day:

Wow! What an amazing night. Looking through the photos and watching the video makes us feel so proud of what JPC Community Farm accomplished in just one evening of glamour and entertainment. This couldn’t have been made possible without the support of so many – Best, TFM, Supagard, Trinity Car Solutions, Alexanders Prestige, Mercedes Benz Teesside, Gibson Motorsport, Vertu Honda, Gloucester House, Mill Volvo, Porsche Teesside, JCT600 Bentley, JCT600 Lotus, Lookers VW, Lookers Audi, Stratstone Jaguar, Stratstone Landrover, Redline Porsche, Aston Martin Newcastle, Infiniti Newcastle, NERAMS, Millwood Classic Car Storage, DC Couture, Hellens, Debenhams, Sunflower Cognitive Therapies, as well as many many more who attended.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to our special guests, Dr Andrew Shovlin, Chief Race Engineer for Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team, Tiff Needell, ex Top Gear and Fifth Gear Presenter and Motoring Legend, and the wonderful Pete Graves, Sky Sports Presenter, who acted as our MC for the evening.

We’re sure that most can appreciate the sheer volume of work that goes on behind the scenes to host an event like this for over 400 guests, from the food planning, to the decorations, the seating plan to the entertainment. We hit just the right spot with the amazing Annabel Pattinson serenading our guests during the reception and the fabulous Simon Carter’s crooning during our three-course meal. And for those of you who had the pleasure to have met the spectacular Mike Driver, Close Up Magician, we’re sure you will agree he took you by surprise. We were also delighted to view the spectacular clothing ranges from Christian Alexander and Bakers Tailoring during their fashion show.

Auctioned off were some very special prizes that money just can’t buy. Trinity Car Solutions generously offered a Phase 1 Peugeot 205 1.6 GTi, Dr Andrew Shovlin provided us with a Lewis Hamilton Signed Front Left Wing Flap from his Winning 2014 Monza Car. Local artist, Charlie Barker provided us with 2 original drawings – one of Tiff Needell and the other of Dr Andrew Shovlin, who each signed their drawings for the winning bidders. And not forgetting a VIP Sky Sports Experience to name but a few. Words can’t express the gratitude we feel to all who played a part in making this ball a huge success – just buying a ticket makes you one of our valued supporters and we can’t thank you enough.
